Product Description
Protobothrops flavoviridis (formerly Trimeresurus) is the most medically significant snake in Japan. Its venom contains Flavoxobin (a thrombin-like enzyme) and haemorrhagic metalloproteinases.
Research Applications
- Coagulation: Mechanism of Flavoxobin-induced fibrin formation.
- Pathology: Study of glomerular injury (Habu snake nephritis).
