Scientific & Professional Use
Products and reference materials offered by Venom Supplies are available for bona fide scientific, educational, analytical, and biomedical research applications by both individual purchasers (including independent researchers, herpetologists, qualified toxinologists, and private educators) and institutional laboratories (including academic universities, biotechnology developers, contract research organisations, and pharmaceutical manufacturers). They are not intended for unsupervised domestic, food, or recreational misuse. All customers—whether individual professionals or laboratory representatives—are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable biosafety standards, safe handling practices, and local laws.
Ordering and Availability
Product availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including cases involving regulatory restrictions or incomplete documentation.
Pricing and Payment
Prices are quoted in Euros (EUR, €) exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Intracommunity VAT reverse charge applies per EU Directive 2006/112/EC for verified VAT-registered academic and corporate entities within the European Union. We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and SEPA euro bank transfers for both individual and organizational purchases. Standard Net 30 payment terms are available for approved institutional research laboratories with an official purchase order.
Shipping and Risk of Loss
Orders ship under temperature-controlled cold-chain conditions with validated carriers directly from our European distribution facility in Portes-lès-Valence, France. Shipments within the European Union are exempt from intra-community customs borders. Risk of loss transfers to the customer when the shipment is handed to the carrier. Inspect all packages immediately upon receipt and notify us within 48 hours of any issues.
Compliance Documentation
Certain materials may require end-user declarations, institutional approvals, TRACES-NT documentation, or CITES import/export permits under Council Regulation (EC) No 338/97. Customers must provide accurate documentation before shipment. We reserve the right to delay or cancel orders that lack required compliance records.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and data compilations, is owned or licensed by Venom Supplies and Latoxan S.A.S. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable French and European law, Venom Supplies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products or site. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the products involved.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Venom Supplies and Latoxan S.A.S. harmless from claims or losses resulting from your misuse of our products, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable regulations.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings or disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent commercial courts having jurisdiction over Valence, France.

We may update these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
